Sheikh Hamad ruled Qatar from 1995 to 2013, after assuming power in 1995.During his 18-year reign, he oversaw sweeping political and economic reforms that elevated Qatar into a major regional and global player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under his leadership, Qatar successfully leveraged its vast natural gas and oil resources to drive rapid economic growth.
The country invested heavily in infrastructure, expanded its international partnerships, and strengthened its diplomatic influence, earning global recognition for its growing role in regional and international affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also championed improvements in education, healthcare, public services, and cultural development, helping raise the standard of living for Qatari citizens and laying the foundation for the modern state Qatar is today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
