Twenty-seven children at Nyagatare Children’s Rehabilitation Centre are ready to sit for national examinations as they continue to receive opportunities to pursue education and rebuild their lives.
The children at the rehabilitation centre have continued their studies like other students, with education being considered an important tool to help them transform and eventually contribute positively to society after completing their rehabilitation programmes.
Officials at Nyagatare Children’s Rehabilitation Centre say the children are provided with the necessary support to continue their education and adequately prepare for the national examinations.
The education programme for children in rehabilitation centres aims to equip them with knowledge and values that will help them regain confidence, reintegrate into society, and build a better future.
